Well guys on August 10th 2007, Myself and R1Gurl started talking about a place for the "girls" Since most sportbike forums are geared toward men we figured why not make one for the girls. And from that SBG was born. We will be 2 months old on Oct 10th!! Time sure has flown! We have 300 members!!! This is so very awesome. We hope to continue to grow!

The whole Staff here wants to thank everyone who has joined. Without yall this place would be dead. I expect lots of great things to come out of this place. If ANYONE has any suggestions feel free to tell us. We want to know what you all want. Its Amazing the sense of community that is growing here.

Thanks Everyone....and be sure to spread the word!!!!:)

I find it somewhat amazing, the number of women riding sportbikes now. When I started riding street bikes, I only knew two women who rode sportbikes, and that was in the Orlando area where there are a lot of people, not some dinky town.

Then I lived in Mississippi for a few years in the early 90's, I only saw two women on sportbikes the whole time and they were just riding through, on a cross country trip (what fun!!).

When I came back to Florida the female sportbiking population had increased somewhat, but the last couple of years have seen many, many more women on them.

I think it's awesome. The more women we have, the more gear and other products will be designed for us. The bigger voice we have, the more choices we will have. Keep it up ladies, and spread the word.
