What brand is good?

How much should they cost?

Where did you find them?

I'm pretty set on getting the big ones that stick out pretty far and require fairing modification...because I'm pretty sure those are the only ones that might actually work...correct me if I'm wrong...

I've never had a bike down, and I don't want to take any chances...I gotta get me some!

Suggestions are appreciated! :D

I like Vortex's and cut ones are the only way to go. No-cuts = crap!

Vortex's have two diff puck sizes to choose from too.

Frame Sliders are the best $$ ya can spend on ya bike.

:good:

I've been looking at shogun, woodcraft, and Evotech.

Any opinions? I didn't like the idea of cutting the fairing, but I have read that that's the best so I guess I'll go that route.

They're the only way to go:grin:

shoguns n woodcraft are both good shyt too. all 3, Vortex, shogun, and woodcraft have replaceable derlin (only material to have as) pucks. Which equals less cost in the event of a crash.

All 3 run around $70 a set on avg.

Motovation Sliders are the highest quality except for Woodcraft. Shogun are pretty good. shoot me a PM if your interested. I carry Shogun, Motovation and Lightech Sliders. The No Cuts are just as good in my opinion. I have seem them hold up just as well as cut sliders as long at the bracket is solid. Motovation has the best bracket quality in my opinions and then Shogun.

Just don't crash and you'll be golden. *wink*

Few golden rules:
If you have to cut your fairings, just take your chances.
If they are called "no cuts" because they bend around your fairings, just say no. (They usually just bend and damage your frame.)

HEADLIGHT'S TIPS FOR INSTALLING CUT SLIDERS

1. Remove the lowers & mid's
2. Run the bolt in without the puck attached
3. Put some silly putty on the inside of the mid
4. Re-install the mid
5. Reach up and back the bolt out until it touches the mid and the silly putty
6. Remove mid
7. Drill a pilot hole through the center of where the bolt touched
8. Use hole saw to cut hole

End Result

LOL...it looks so good and went so well that was the only thing I did that day. Got it all done and put together, said to myself "well that went so well nothing else is gonna go right." Put my tools away shut the heater off and went back inside.

I have a set of plain ole Suzuki Slider in mine. I just don't recommend cutting your faring or getting the one's that are "no cuts" and usually do more damage when they twist and rip out.

I do, however, stongly recommend you just not crash. *wink*

Unfortunately we have to cut our fairings to use good sliders. No-cuts for the F4/i puts it right at the corner of the head. Not what ya want sumthing smashing into in a crash.

Look at the pix of my bike. I have the Vortex on mine n almost zero tolerence around the puck.

what one did ya order?

which exhaust?

I ordered the Yoshimura R55 full system. This one:

http://www.motomummy.com/store/product.php?productid=17123&cat=426&page=1 I got the carbon fiber tip.

I got an email saying that it should be in stock on Sept 5 and would be shipped to me immediately. I can eliminate the rear peg brackets altogether with this exhaust and lose a few pounds! ;)

I wish I could lose weight that easily myself!

I also ordered this in smoke:
