Thanks! The Red/Black 600 is sooo sexy! I had a black '03 before I got my 1000. Fellow Honda riders always get a gold star in my book!

So how long did it take u to upgrade to a 1000. Did u go straight to a 1000 afterwards? Ive always had my friends say they are to torque for me. But then again they are guys and their excuse was they just want me to be safe. Did u ever feel at any point that it wa to much for you?

I don't think now it's too much for me... I respect the bike and its power (which should be said for just about any sportbike these days!). I rode 600s for the first 5 years I was riding... started on an F3, moved to a new '02 F4i, and then got the '03 600RR once it came out. I feel like the progression I made helped me not feel as intimated by the 1000 and more comfortable on it... but I sure do miss my 600, especially on track days... my goal is to make either an '03 or an '05 600RR into a track only bike... but, I'll probably wait until CO actually has some decent tracks before doing so.

ok so u go out to the track as well. Iv never been always thought about it when its strictly chics but I dont feel Im ready for that yet. I can tell when I ride. It still intimidates me sometimes Im still new to all this been riding since march.
