From the looks of your avatar you already have gear, so you're one step ahead of the game. Good luck on picking out your bike. Even better someone else is putting a down payment on it. :aBigROLFMAO:

i pretty much grew up on dirtbikes & 4wheelers thats why i was intrested in streetbikes.. so i went and took my class. and it was nothing like the dirtbike. but i loved it.
so only time i have was really my class. or on the back's of others bikes..
and im 5'5"

5'5" so Flat footing shouldn't be a problem? But the real question is... Why not go Green??? It takes a person with a Strong personalty to ride Green...

Flat footing is hard actually.. every1's bike i sit on i tip toe.
r6- is tip toe with regular sneakers
gsxr- tip toe with regular sneakers.
636- withhh my riding boots. i tip toe worse.
so i mean .. i will have to get it lowered for sure.

Hola Chica, Welcome!
I have a gixxer and I am 5 foot nothing! I found with the gixxer it had a skinnier seat so that my legs were more vertical.....see post on bike lowering I believe it's in sportbike central, if I remember correctly.
If you are tip toe on the gixxer, maybe just shaving the seat and some riding boots with a thicker sole is all you need. Best for handling.

Welcome.
Just to add my 2 cents. I have a ZX10 that I can get one foot down flat. :) And I'm 5'7 - 5'8 - depending on who you ask.
I have found though that when I'm in my sneakers, I am definitely on my tippy toes, but when I have on my ICON riding boots, I can reach MUCH better.

Welcome aboard Jessika.. Get the bike that you want or might regret it...
Welcome!
I have an 06 GSXR 600 and I'm about 5'4, maybe 5'3 cause I slouch, and I can touch down easily on it, much better than I can/could on any other bike that I sat on. When i'm sitting upright at a stop, i can almost flat foot it, when i'm stopping or about to take off and am leaning forward I'm alittle more towards my tip toes but still have good footing.
