this is an install DIY for airfliters on a 2004 1000rr. the same basic principals apply to most bikes.
easy to do and only takes 30 minutes or less.
tools needed--#5 allen wrench, phillips screw driver, block of wood
1. remove the riders seat
2. remove the gas tank cover
3. remove the fuel drain tube and 2 front gas tank bolts
4. rotate the fuel tank back and support with a block of wood
5. remove the 6 phillips screws from the top of the airbox, tilt the top back twords the tank to expose the filters
6. remove the old filters and replace with the new ones
7. replace the top of the airbox
8. lower the tank, make sure the drain tube gets slotted back in the same place.
9. re-conncet the drain hose and tighten up the 2 gas tank bolts.
10. replace the tanbk cover.
11. replace the riders seat.
