this is a DIY on how to flush and bleed your brake fluid and clutch.

time needed: about 1.5hrs or less

tools needed:
phillips head screw driver
hand pump vacuum bleeder (not nessissary, but makes it go alot quicker)
8mm wrench (front and rear bleeder valves)
10mm wrench (clutch bleeder valve)
new DOT 4 brake fluid
empty bottle for used brake fluid (please dispose of used fluid properly!!!)
plenty of towels to protect paint
1 can of brake clean (not needed, but helps with clean-up)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!DO NOT GET ANY BRAKE FLUID ON PLASTIC OR PAINTED SURFACES.
it will eat it. if you do, wipe off immediatly.
make sure you place towels around the resivoirs to soak up any drops of brake fluid.

1. remove the brake fluid resivoir cover and also remove the white and black pieces under the cover. clean off all old brake fluid and set aside.
2. remove as much old fluid from the resivoir as possible.
3. refill resivoir with fresh fluid to "upper" mark.
4. place the vacuum bleeder nipple over the bleeder screw. then pump up to create some vacuum pressure.
5. open the bleeder screw and begin to evacuate all the old brake fluid from the line and master cylinder.
!!!!!!!caution!!!! dont vacuum dry the resivoir, or you will be there for a while trying to get all the sucked in air from the resivoir and line/master cylinder!!!!!! make sure you turn the bleeder screw back to close before this happens.
6. refill the resivoir with fresh fluid. repeat a few times, untill you can see nothing but the fresh new fluid coming out and all air bubbles are gone.

these steps mentioned above will work on the rear brakes, the front brakes as well as the clutch.

on the front brakes i did it the same way as above, but i bleed the RIGHT caliper first, then the left. i bleed the right caliper about 3 times, then did the left one 3 times. then 2 more times on the right, and 2 more times on the left. remember not to let the resivoir run dry, or you will be bleeding for hours trying to get all the air out of the lines and master cylinder.

if you have any questions or comments, please share them.

also, you will notice my brake fluid is BLUE. that is because im using ATE super blue racing brake fluid. much higher boiling point than your regular brake fluid.
