New Enough has the Supervent jacket for a realy good deal ($64.99). My 1st generation Joe Rocket Phoenix jacket was just too big for me, and I didn't have much faith in its protective abilities. I wanted a mesh jacket that had textile in the high impact areas. I ordered this jacket and received it in just 4 days! I "tested" it for the first time today. I heeded their advice to order a full size up, and I'm glad I did. My Teknic Sequoia jacket is a size 8; I ordered a 10 in the Supervent, and they fit the same, go figure! I am pleased with the fit. This jacket does run shorter in the waist than most. I have been happy with Teknic products, and the quality of this jacket is very good. Best of all, the armor in the elbows, shoulders, and back are substantial Knox armor. The only thing I find lacking is that it would be nice if it had a zip-out inner liner to at least block the wind when a ride starts out chilly, then the liner could be removed when it warms up. Otherwise, I give this jacket an A+. There are limited sizes and colors. I really liked the silver/black, but they didn't have my size, so I ordered the light blue/black....never a "typical" color for me, but I really do like it.

Wow! That's a great deal... If I wasn't so tight on $$ planning for the trip, I'd pick one up! :(

Hmn, I like it, just don't know if I like how short it is. I do like longer jackets, but even with them, I have a problem of my jackets riding up in the back - no matter what size I get.
