If I wanted to learn any stunt I think it would be how to do stoppies, since I basically did one during my license exam for the quick braking lol. So how does one go about learning to do stoppies w/o trashing his/her bike??
I may get a pocket bike soon too just to do stoopid chyt on

I started by going 30 mph and getting a hand full of brake. If it feels like its going over..let go. I dont stunt alot and am by no means a pro..Townie..Take it from here.

I seen too many 1k's loop lol
And everytime I tried wheeling on a cr100 when I was a teen I ate dirt lol so the only time you will see me raise the front tire is if the bike powers it up coming out of a turn lol

Well some of us enjoy the warmth of a fire, and some of us jump in it. I kinda, just stand too close.

ok we will start with wheelies.. first get used to the clutch... all the big times say to start standing stagerd.. right foot on rear set left foot on pass peg... right foot always over the brake... you get scared hit the brake and bike will come back to earth... now if stand ups are too much for you try sitting down... baby steps people baby steps.... pull clutch in DO NOT PAY ATENTION TO YOU CAGE CLUSTER!!!!!! start real slow with the clutch... a good place is when you are just about in the power band of the bike... you dont want to be in it... just pull clutch in and let give a bit of gas and let out.. faster the better easier on the clutch... now only do about 50 to 10 trys and let the bike cool down... this will also help on not destroying the clutch or block... get used to the way it feels when you drop the clutch and get thrown back... its weird but hey its learing.... now once you have gotn the bike off the ground work on rollin git out.... dont worry about how high you are... just work on rolling them out farther and farther.. the highth will come in time.... now once you are rolling them out a good ways you will notice you are more confident in riding on that back tire.... well dont be.. this is when you will hurt yourself.... always be afraid and remember when it gets crazy HIT THE BACK BRAKE!!!! ok now you are starting to roll the wheelies you are getting good highth.... now you want to know about how high you can go... well once you cant see the road that is about how you want to go on a fast sit down... trust me you will get the bike high enough to were you cant see the road... im 6'2 trust me.... now that you are here it is all about throttle controll and trust in yourself that if you get scared you will do the right things... nothing in a wheelie is fast motion.... dont chop the throttle... that will make you loop... if you catch your self doing that then set it down...
now stopppies... stoppies are scary... i wont lie to you... work on just doing the pop the back end up.. just like wheelies its baby steps... just pop the back end up till you get the feeling your bike is at about a balance point... now dont flip it.. you wont like that at all... once you have gotn used to the back end comming up and how hard you have to grabe that brake... then start out slow... real slow... speed is not an issue with this... the faster you the more likly you are to have head shake... thats not fun...get used to just getting the back end up off the ground as you roll to a stop... you will see your self get a little more used to the feeling... once you are getting the back wheel off the ground and rolling for about 20 feet or so let me know and i will give you more tips... you dont need to know any more yet... it is the basics... you have to crawl before you can walk...
now remember you are working on stunts... you will drop your bike if your play long enough... no one learns without some small mis haps... good luck and be safe...

there is actually a really great video on google or somewhere about how to do a wheelie.
They say the best way to learn is start out just bunny hopping it to get use to the feeling of it being off the ground even if for a second.
Everyone I know (the guys is DSF & a few others) agree that the best way to start learning stunts is to play on a fiddy.
As for girls doing stunts...Look up the name Jessica Maine. She has been stunting since she was like 18 and she is only 21 now but she (Like Jason Britton) is sponsored by Icon. She rides and F4i, an r6 and a gsxr600.
Regardless, I gotta give the girl props she knows how to stunt and she does it well. She is only like 5'3" 120lbs WET and she manhandles those bikes like they are wet noodles.
All in all I guess it depends on what style of riding you want to do. If you really want to stunt and are serious then get a cage on your bike. But if u just want to street, get a cheap older bike and stunt it out to play on or ask a friend or get a fiddy I guess.
I really have no room to talk seeing as how I wanna do track LOL

I'm not really interested in stunting per say. I would rather go fast and drag knee (I'm scared of that too). I do get in my moods though where I'm feeling a bit over-zealous and wished I knew how to do wheelies.
I just need to buy a junk bike to practice on...because my bike is my unicorn...I won't do anything to risk wrecking it. Best for me to start small and work my way up.

yeahhhh same here.
I could never see myself stunting alone....
But if I knew and trusted someone enough, I would tandem stunt in a heartbeat.
Granted, I got a lot of gym days before I can flip around on a bike like some girls I have seen but, its just too awesome to pass up.
One guy and his girl did a little bit of tandem down at "the spot" last month.
It definitely looks better in person than on video =D

Maybe a junk 600 or 250 would be suitable, I just don't wanna trash my baby trying to learn.

ok gimmie the crap bike to ride on the regular (u know to keep iys blood pumpin an all ) and u can stunt it whenever lol

yeah I personally dont know about fiddys as practice because well they are squirelly!! (sp??) Much lighter and I have heard about big time boo-boo's from little fiddys. I wouldnt be surprised if they could do major damage.

I think that would be the way to go. I have had my front wheel up a couple times, just a little but I get nervous I'm gonna crash my baby so no stuntin for me.

I've done wheelies on a pocket bike LOL

although, i've done a few power wheelies. my first one was on accident, scared the :p00p: out of me! they're pretty thrilling, i don't do them often though, i have invested way too much into my baby just to dump her for doing something stupid!
