Bike: '92 Suzuki GSX1100GT
Issue: Whisps of white smoke coming from under vacuum cap on #4 and at low speed (mainly idle) and when shut off...

Ok, #4 plug fouled in Hubby's bike so I changed the plugs. Gapped them at .028..Reajusted the mixture as hubby had messed with it when plug started to foul....bike ran fine for about a day and then it started...On freeway speeds, buke runs great. No Problem. But, when ideling or right after shutting off, there is a whisp of white smoke coming from under the vacuum cap..the port where you hook up the sync tools to sync the carb... The wires are on their tight. Oh, and also, on lower speeds (about 4k rpm) that cylinder drops out completely and it runs on 3. It kicks back in at higher RPM's.

I still need to do a compression test..I am thinking it could be the mixture but hubby is sure it isn't...and besides, what do i know, Im just a girl..so...

anyone have any other ideas?

'well, i was getting ready to do a compression check and I noticed that the vacuum cap on the #4 carb port was bad..had a hole in it..which would explain a lot..replaced the cap and then noticed I have an o ring missing under the #4 carb diaphram cap..so, going to get another one and replace it tomorrow....hope that solves it....
