Dubbed the Uno, this crazy Segway / crotch rocket hybrid is the result of teen, Ben Gulak’s preternatural engineering skills combined with his desire to help the environment. This “motorUnicycle” actually has two wheels, side by side, and is reportedly easy to ride. Pictured above is an actual working prototype that weights about 120 lbs and runs for about 2.5 hours on an electric motor. The bike really has no controls other than the handle bars and the drivers ability to shift his/her weight. Similar to the Segway, the Uno uses two Gyros to keep itself upright and to operate. Simply lean in the direction you want to go… forward to accelerate, backwards to go back, and to either side…

Gulak came up with the idea after a 2006 trip to China where he noticed a lot of people riding internal combustion bikes and horrendous smog. According to Gulak, “The smog was so thick, we never saw the sun.” The trip made him realize that there was a need for a compact electric vehicle that would ease congestion and not take it’s toll on the environment.

All things considered this is great Green innovation, and its’s amazing that it was developed by a teenager! Let me leave you with this question, will you miss the joy of popping a wheelie or is this like riding a wheelie all the time?

WTF?! i belong to 4 other bike forums, and i spread my time accordingly. i never said i don't like anyone here. if you wanna call me out and ask me something my PM box is empty and waiting. much beyond that, i have no other responses to this very pointed remark. if i feel like i hafta defend myself against something, i promise you i will not post here anymore. i don't have time or energy for that kinda stuff. why do you want to start trouble where there is none?

i live by the motto 'keep your friends close, and your enemies closer'. if someone is gonna talk about me, i am gonna make them do it in front of me...not behind my back. understand?

I just asked. I usually ask when I have a question. Little touchy.
And I don't think the unicycle is very safe or look very balanced. Plus cagers don't see mc's now, they certainly aren't going to pay attention to that.

may be certain things you say elsewhere about here or people here and then act like all is well.

as for me, I wont say nothing behind anyones back that I wont say to their face, IRL or online.

Neutral is neutral, but par taking in is another. Just food for thought and not entirely directed at you. As I have stated numerous times in the last week or so I am sick of the drama and it is gonna stop one way or another. :big_boss:

well, all is well from my viewpoint. at one point i did feel judged here by being associated with the TWFixers and stated that over there. i finally felt like that was behind me now. i told love my intentions for joining over there and commended the 2 guys over there for finally saying they were going to stop the attacks (even though apparently that isn't the case). i never spoke poorly of here except to say that i, too, felt singled out at one point. it's not a lie and nothing i won't admit to, but it's in the past. now i am feeling the need to defend myself again, and i don't want to keep doing that. i will just back away and throw up my hands in surrender.

PG, you aren't the only one frustrated by all this. i just wanna come here and post my dumb 1 wheeled bikes and share a laugh. can't it just be the way it was again?

this all reminds me of that episode of the golden girls where rose finds out someone she met doesn't like her. she just obsesses about it and lets it consume her. not directed at this site or it's people, all this just made me remember that.
