Surefire EarPro EP3 Sonic Defenders
High quality ear plugs for a budget price

Not all of us can afford to have custom made ear plugs to ride with. Hell, as much as I like to shoot, ride, and go to concerts, I still can't justify it. The next best thing is reusable high quality plugs. What makes the Surefire EP-3 really stand out is that they don't just make everything quieter, they make loud things quieter. I wear a set at the rifle range and don't have to pop them out to talk to the other shooters when we close the line. No need to pull them out to hear your fellow riders talking at a stop. They do reduce quieter sounds to some degree, but not too severely. Loud sounds are still heard, but at less than deafening levels. They are quite comfortable for wearing on a longer ride and even come in a nice plastic carrying case so they don't have to get shoved into your pocket and dirtied up. They use no electronics, either, so there is no battery to worry about and no electronics to short out or fault. As long as you don't severely damage the plugs themselves and give 'em an occasional wash they're sure to perform problem-free for a long time.

At just $9.99 per pair ($8.96 when purchased in boxes of 25) they are a steal when compared to custom made or electronic ear plug options.
