Technically it is, since it's below the Mason-Dixon Line. But when the North/South trouble started all the wimps here couldn't decide which side they wanted to be on anyway :aBigROLFMAO:

Not quite Maryland, but Delaware. Close enough that I could actually fit in PA, DE, NJ and MD - maybe even throw VA in there since I'm originally from there.

alexandria, va here.
not to cause any riff...but yall need to check out this other group I ride with... http://www.monkeyriders.com (my screen name here is the same on monkeyriders.com) we have a group ride section...and a TON of people in the surrounding areas...including Reistertown (sp) lol and everywhere in between.
I'm always down for a group ride (I ride year round)...we usually do a moderate to fast pace...with really good twisties. But all riders are welcome, because we line up according to riding ability....and if you want to pass...then just say so.
Our rides usually consist of a meet spot to begin...a nice slow pace ride to the route start...then we hit the route....and usually end for lunch or have a destination...chill, then either head home or hit the route in reverse.
Does this site have a group ride section?
And sometimes you get lucky and get to watch one of your Riding buddy wipe out a perfectly good GSX-R 750 or Ducati 1098 :crutch: ;)

We don't really have a group ride section, but if you would like to put something together and post it in the appropriate regional area that would be lovely.

hahahah you're a monkey rider....and yea...it happens...sadly enough :(
were you there for both? I was. I got there late to the 1098, but I was 2 bikes back from the 750.
I was in the slow group when Bill went down on the GSX-R. I was on the blue Z750S, came with my Dad.
I`d be up for a group ride once we get some better weather

Well it was about 53 here today, so I got about 100 miles in of just play time :) I was thrilled.

I had to do my yearly ritual: Christmas shopping on X-mas eve today or I would have been out breaking in my new ride:yahoo:

Looks like low 50s tomorrow and high 50s on Monday. I'm gonna try to get some good miles in. Not sure where exactly I'm gonna go, and don't really care. Been waiting for weeks for a day like this.

When you get to Shepherstown you need to check out Rt 9. West. Take it out to and past Berkeley Springs. It gets pretty twisty out that way, if you have never been out that way. The Pan Handle has some good roads if you know where to look. I live about 25 minutes from Sheperdstown, so if you are ever looking to go out for a bit, let me know. I've spent the last three years out there trying to find some good roads.
