Rider died.......

A GSXR rider lost his life today. 'Rumor' is he was doing 100+mph around a left hander on 60 BUS when I lady pulled out in front of him. Was Pronounced dead on the scene. I will update when I get the official report.

My prayers go out to his family.

Fox5 is out of Atlanta. They did a 2 or 3 part series about all the bad sportbikes year b4 last.

Not heard or seen a name released yet. Just heard it was a fairly new GSXR, and the rider had on Danese(sp?) leathers. Bike I seen towed out was Blue and white.

Guys, this was one of my best friends. Please pray for his family. He leaves behind a wife, two sons (one a newborn), and hundreds of friends. His newborns christening was supposed to be a week from today. His wife just quit her job to stay home with the kids, and he didn't have any life insurance. She needs all the prayers she can get.

Alpharetta motorcyclist dies in wreck

UPDATED May 4, 2008 10:33 p.m.

John Ante, 37, of Grovehurst Drive in Alpharetta died shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday when a car collided with the motorcycle he was driving on U.S. 19.

A car turned in front of Ante two miles north of Dahlonega, and he was thrown from the bike, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

The patrol responded at 11:17 a.m. and pronounced Ante dead at the scene. He was taken to Chestatee Regional Hospital in Dahlonega. The passengers of the vehicle were not injured.

The Georgia State Patrol is still investigating the accident.

There will be a memorial fund set up to help the widow n kids. I will post up details when I get them for those who can n want to donate.
