Love, I have the Scorpion Black Dahlia and LOVE IT!! I had an Arai before that one and the fit definitely compares to the Arai - you're getting the same fit and feel, but for a MUCH lower price.

Both nice looking helmets - have you tried those brands on? I currently have a Shark and worn longer than 2 hours I get a severe headache and a serious red indentation on my forehead. Gotta get a new one soon, just have had no time to look or go try any on.

Scorpion is a better lid, from my understanding. I know some guys that have crashed them and walked. Duno about the other brand.

IMO, I won't put my head into anything other than an Arai if I can.... Lighter and proven lids. Scorpions are heavy.

+1 on the pink one...I like the Scorpion...my husband has had 3 Scorpion helmets and loves them. I have an Icon Mainframe Hooligan in hot pink! All my gear is pink...Love it ... Love it ... Love it.

i have the blue icon and i have a pink one sitting here i got new off ebay for $100. was going to give it to some one for when we went ridding and didnt work out so i never gave it to her. it sits here in the helmet bag.

Very cool jacket, and I like both designs on the helmet but the first one is brighter red like the jacket. Jacket is hawt, tho...A-TI-TUDE! What color is your Ninja gonna be, btw? I'm guessing red?

I don't know about Scorpion vs AFX for fit and quality but after having an HJC (cheap) that I bought for the design and now a Shoei (not cheap), the difference in weight and quality makes up for the price. My neck is SOOOO much happier with the Shoei. Arai is A#1. Have you tried any of these on? It's more than just fit in the store (needs to be pretty snug) but you will notice a difference in weight after a bit on your neck and shoulders.

Your choice IMO should be:
quality
fit
price
design

But pretty much any DOT helmet should be good for one good smack.

Awesome deal. I'm with Pippi on the helmet choice. IMO you should go to a place you can try them on to see which is most comfortable for you. Everyone's fit is different.............congrats!
