Not a problem. I already have my hotel reservations, waiting on a confirmation for the flight. I sorta have to go, the NMRA awards ceremony will be going on and I'll be getting a jacket for being in the top 10 for the year. As it looks now I believe I'm going to end up 6th.

Yes indeed! I cut my riding teeth on Seidel Rd and that area back in the late 80's, ad I still ride out there, through Monte Verde, Clermont, Groveland, and all over that part of Lake County.

But lately I've been going out to the West Coast, Brooksville, Gobbler, Crystal River... lots of awesome roads out there. :D

A friend of mine who was pregnant went for rides on the back of my bike until about a week before she had the baby. I guess the kid got used to the noise, because for months afterward the only way to get her to fall asleep without hours of crying was to put her in a car and drive somewhere.

We'll definitely have to get together sometime. When I'm riding with the guys, we usually meet at the Chevron next to Performance Honda on West Hwy 50 @ 8:30 on Sundays. Sometimes earlier if we are heading to the west coast. I'll try to remember to post up here about the next ride.

Do you ride with Girlriders? They meet the first Saturday of every other month. The next one is in November. Those rides are usually slower paced, but it's nice riding with a group of all girls (very little, if any ego, and no testosterone). :)

Last nite I just got word that there's a possible (definately possible) move in my future with my other half to Orlando. His job is relocating him, all expenses paid. This is HUGE considering I'm in a born and raised Clevelander, in a town where half the year it snows! I don't know what to do first, where to start, I'm all discombobulated. Anyone here in that area? Just curious. As far as dates on relocation, its going to be by July. Thanks!:read:

I'm originally from Michigan, and I survived the transplant pretty well. I consider Orlando my home town now. I love it here.

There is a lot to do, if you like theme parks and stuff like that. But I tend to stay away from those areas. It's a lot more peaceful the further you are away from Disney, Seaworld, Universal and those places. But it's nice having them close for when you do want to go.

There are some nice roads for riding, if you know where to look to. Nothing to compare to the mountains, of course. But we have year around riding which makes up for it. :beach:

Let me know when you get here! I'll be happy to show you around on two wheels. You could join GirlRiders for either the July or Sept ride as well, perhaps.

I was born and raised in a teeny-tiny little town, and not even actually in town, but out in the country side, outside of town. It's a pretty little town, but there's no way I could live there now. Lucky for me we moved away when I was 15, or I'd have gotten into some serious trouble as a result of being bored, no doubt. :dirol:

Ed Bargy...Schedule isn't quite complete so if there is one sooner we may do that one. This does give me a few extra weeks to take off lbs so I don't look like a squeezed sausage in leathers!

We thought about going up this weekend but we are going to Universal next weekend (well Karaoke at Rising Star in City Walk) with Brit and Thanksgiving is here so I have a LOT to do. so we said nope. I is kinda sad...would like to get a lay of the land kinda but I hear they are all super nice there.
