Want to know if any of our vendors / sponsors or members can get me prices on a new set of pilot powers 120 front 180 rear.
If anyone has recently ordered tires and got a good price and can point me in the right direction please let me know.
Thanks!

Thanks guys, you rock!! Have any of you bought the 2cts? Just curious if you like em or not. I love my pilot powers, but thinking about going with 2cts this time.

Tore my set apart in 3 track days. I prefer the corsa 2 or the metzler M3 myself. unless its just a track bike then the BT01
I've just begun using the 2Ct on the back and power on the front which is a good combo. Getting the pressures right and checking them before every 'big' ride helps in getting some longevity out of them.
There is always going to be a trade-off between wanting something sticky, and something that's going to last the distance!
If you find that your not pushing them to the extremes and they're still shredding, try upping the psi by 1 or 2, this will help reduce the heat build up and deformation of the tyre.
Pilot powers - Luv em

Doesn't the R1 come with a 190 rear from the factory? Or do you just prefer 180?

R1 does come with the 190. Alot of riders like the faster turn in they get from the 180 however.

I run a 180 rear on mine, much better turn in. I switched to 2ct's last year and absolutely love them. There is a season on them and they are wearin' good.

they wear much better if you take them to the track headlight.. there is an awesome trackday in july that is $100 to support susan b. komen and they have AMA instructors to boot.. once you hit the trackcrack you will be hooked.. its kind of like this - the difference is like having sex with a blow up doll and having sex with 3 women at the same time.. hmm i wonder which is better? lol..

I have 2cts and love em. I have also heard about them chewing up on 1ks and I've seen those riders moving to the 3 compound tires.
