Isn't it funny how most w4m ads are like checklists of requirements. These women think finding a guy is like ordering a sandwich - a little more height please, easy on the love of sports, and can you throw in a weekend house in the mountains and a willingness to support some other guy's children?

If men wrote their m4w ads the same way, we would expect to see something like this:

Looking to meet the woman of my dreams. Someone who appreciates me for who I am. I love big TV's, big trucks, baseball caps, and wife-beater tanks. I love going out with my friends to get drunk at strip clubs too. I'm looking for a nice woman who is not looking to jump into a relationship too soon but who knows what it means to be sexy and take care of her partner. Please no BBW's (sorry) but you won't look good on my arm when I wear a white t-shirt.

You must love dogs and my beer can collection, my dogs, my cans, and I are a package, so if you're not into them then please move on. I like to let all 6 of my dogs sleep in my bed with me, so hopefully you don't have a problem with that.

Deal breakers:
Age: I just dont want to have to wash the wrinkles of me later
likes to shop too much
obsessed with height (i am short)
fat
talks about yourself too much
neediness
always wanting to talk about the relationship
small breasts (sorry, there is nothing sexier than grabbing onto a nice pair)
doesnt like to cook for her man
bossiness
nagging
always wanting to get up early in the morning
fat
intolerance of me and my habits
pressure to have kids

Turn ons:
thin
large breasts (very sexy)
quiet
beer drinker
has her own friends and won't try to make me watch chick flicks
smells good
likes football
doesn't expect me to pay all the time
intelligent but not too intelligent (i dont like nerdy girls)
rich father
thin
doesn't have a relationship calendar, i.e. doesnt wonder after 3 months if we are going in the right direction.

If you feel you meet up to what i want, please let me know

kthxbye

What's funny is that I was thinking about my own checklist of what would be my ideal man....and my husband is pretty much the opposite....probably not a good sign

And I'm guessing "thin" is a big deal, since you mentioned it twice and mentioned "fat" as a deal breaker twice

So, your point is that Women are more choosy & Pesky ?

Thankfully, my Girlfriend is not pesky at all !!

Hmm.. Well, don't say it here ... :)

Still, Females here are more than Males.... :D

That's a funny one (reminds me of the computer vs. car one).

Where'd you pick up the spoof? Viral email or somewhere else?

hahahaha i love that!!!!
to be honest, i used to get in a lot of fights with my bf, because he can be forgetful and he definitely isn't as uptight as i used to be. i used to think i had to change him and that i was right. over these years, though, i stopped thinking that way and started 1) finding all that stuff quite endearing and 2) let him relax me a bit. now i am much more happy, and a lot less uptight. so i think sometimes girls have to learn from their guy as well.:drinks:

and to comment on this, well i have to say it was kind of nice to read. the boys that i grew up with hated bigger breasts and actually complimented my friend when her boobs lost weight! so it actually made me feel rather insecure and i really suffered from that insecurity for about 5 years actually, as lame as that sounds...so this kinda made my day,

+1 on this! We women can learn a lot from our men! I am not in a relationship yet, but I will be soon. Of course I have been in multiple relationships and I have learned a lot from them.

I'm with ya! My husband & I are opposite in so many ways, but fit each other perfectly and I love him dearly. Love is a strange thing!

t_jolt,
they are more like guidelines, or a starting point, if you will. I don't think anyone could ever really fit someone else's ideals perfectly anyways.

So true...no one can fit someone's ideals to the T. What matters is what you do/give/take for each other. You have to find a balance and treat each other right.
