Any colorado riders here, want to join me in the afternoon (around 4:30 or 5) for a spirited ride? I took Morrison canyon yesterday and the roads are clear, open to suggestions for a route though and would love to have some company.

Forecast: Morrison, CO


Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 67. Breezy, with a west wind 8 to 11 mph increasing to between 22 and 25 mph. Winds could gust as high as 38 mph.

I'm still waiting for SOMEONE ANYONE TO GO. I have one taker that is for sure but we're still waiting.

I'll text ya and let you know what time. know of a good meeting spot off of 58 in golden...was thinking of either taking Golden gate, or 6 up to central city and down central city pkwy....

ASIDE from that, no one wants to ride they're afraid of the wind, so i may be going alone.

Sad thing is that we were looking at his tires before we rode down to Moco. He said he's coming out ahead on the insurance deal though, so that's good.

Gotta love having full gear, it is amazing what a lil leather can do for a person at 70+mph

Poor thing!! Only thing he could see was my dust and an empty road ahead of him. He is going to have to get another R1 when he gets his insurance straightened out.

the motogp yes, the AMA no so much, they are REAL close to what we can get wit a lil fine tuning.

And Honda has a great rep on the street too. Top speed #'s isnt everything yanno :lol:

How many other makes ya seen go 120k with no major work?

but id get just about as much excitment from a riding honda lawn mower.

I'll most likely be sticking with Honda. My insurance still won't permit me to own a litrebike for awhile... so it looks like a 600RR is next in the list. :)

I'm sure any of the 900 series motors or 1000 motors from Honda would fit better:drool:.

Although I did use very little of my R1 motor on that ride. :squid:
