We the staff at SBG work very hard to maintain a forum everyone enjoys. However we do realize you cannot please all the people all the time. If something here makes you unhappy, We suggest contacting a staff member to reconcile the issue. What we do not want to see happening here is recruiting users to another sportbike forum because its better and we suck.

Our members are free to post wherever they want. We are just worried about SBG and what happens here. If you don't like it here noone is forcing you to visit. If you are happier someplace else feel free to post there!

We will not tolerate spam on this forum, in posts or pm's.
We filter 2 websites on this board because of the drama they have caused.
So we just want to clearly state SBG is very proud to have the members who visit us everyday!!! We love all of you!

So if there is another site someone thinks that another member may be interested in looking at/seeing/being on/getting info from, we can't say anything about it in a post or PM?
or only if it's those 2 specific sites you are refering too??

Just trying to avoid any drama later, cause I generally point people to wherever the answer to their question is, regardless of the site.

Just the two sites, and I believe you know which two we are referring too. It sucks I know, but we all know the drama between the those n here, esp the newer one with its lame smilies etc. We just filter them. So if one of those two site have info pertaining to a question here, I suggest copy n paste the info here n cite the user as the source. :drinks:

This sounds all too familiar... There is so much 'drama' on other sites but this exists everywhere. I found 40+ sites in the state of Virginia alone and not all are maintained. You would e surprised how many are in the dark ages as far as design, leadership and coordination. There are another 20-30 that are on the East Coast alone that have some what of a 'social group' atmosphere and are welcoming. It takes nothing to join a group, but it takes heart to be a member.

I appreciate being welcome by Love and her team here at SBG. Respect everyone unconditionally... When you or your family are disrespected, make sure it is resolved personally and don't disrespect people through the 'grapevine'.

We as riders follow the 'jetstream' of the road and flocks are non existent when we ride. Cliques come and go, True friends are forever (the ones that would donate an organ if they could) and Groups last as long as the sun keeps on setting.

"When we come to it
We must confess that we are the possible...
We are the miraculous, the true wonders of this world
Free to choose our ends, and our new beginnings
That is when, and only when...
We come to it"

Sure drama is disruptive but if they are gonna leave because they can't say what they want why not let them say their piece get it out of the way then go? That way maybe they will cool down then come back?

I don't get a lot of this site. The censorship, they lack of the ability to fight in a thread (as long as it is about the topic, or at least spawned from there) or the ability to really express yourself (as censorship limits this).

I just ask, Why?

Feel free to delete this post but an answer via PM even would be nice.

What censorship are you referring too? Discussion n debating is allowed as long as it doesnt turn into personal attacks and namecalling.

A few words have been filtered but I'm sure anyone can be creative enough to not have to use certain words or specific spellings of some words to express their feelings. And honestly theres not many words in the word filters at all. most are there to keep SBG work safe n not get block by filters where members work n can surf.

So I ask again what censorship specifically are you referring?

I can respect everyone's opinion on topics that are discussed, however, it's disturbing to me that the drama that has been so prevalent lately has been primarily initiated by a select group of males on the site. I joined this site as a woman that rides looking to speak with other women that ride...free from testosterone toting ball sacks that continually try and create unnecessary drama on a WOMAN'S FORUM. If I wanted all the drama I would have stayed on the forum that I left...

I love this place, but I don't appreciate the select few males on here incessantly picking and prodding at people that I have come to love.
Have an opinion, but don't attack others for having a different opinion. This is one of the few problems with the world today...RESPECT EACH OTHER people.

You, Rat, are too damn cute, I don't hold the actions of a select few against all of you Nekkid's. Obviously some are more mature than others, and that's just how the world seems to be. You, my friend, are OK in my book, and you have treated me just fine. Thank you for that.

IMHO there is a bit too much censorship here, too, but at the same time it's nice coming from a place where fighting and negativity seem to be rampant. And the mods there seem too afraid to do anything, especially to popular people, unless really pushed. If you haven't been on the backside of a forum, you don't know what a hard job these guys have. Finding a balance between censorship and keeping the peace and letting everyone on the site feel heard is hard work, and I don't envy them!

I don't know ... I guess censorship doesn't bother me, or maybe I don't see it as that so much. I joined SBG because it was a place I could come and talk about all types of things, not just bikes and bike stuff, because as a woman, we're about more than that...we have families, careers, and issues with men that we all like to discuss. This forum is just that. I look at it as the admin and mods trying to keep a happy home, much like I do with my family. This forum may not be the place for a lot of people, especially those that lack the decency to be able to debate things without personally attacking someone for their opinions. There's too much ugly in the world today. I commend the staff of SBG for trying to keep the peace, it's something more people need to step up and do.

So now we censor too much? Please people. Anything that gets closed gets moved if its the cause of something inflammatory. Thats been our policy from the start. I have said this many times and I guess I need to say it again, If you don't like it here you are not obligated to visit. We haven't banned very many people off this site and we do let ppl have thier say in catfight. Thats why its there. What it looks like to me is the same few ppl trying to ignite the drama on other threads and then contribute to it.

And of course everyone dwells on a few negative things. Do you think SBG got where it is today because we sat on asses and the let the drama go on? This is a new week and this week we have a no drama tolerance policy. If ANYONE thinks they are going to continue dragging this out they are mistaken.

So thats it, noone makes you visit here. Not many know the work that goes into this either. The bigger this site gets the more drama happens. Its part of growing and the ppl that believe in SBG and do like it here will stay and if the others jump ship then that says it all to me.

The best way I can describe all this from my point of view is simply put:
"You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't"
