Apparently this forum worked when we were much smaller. However as of lately all it is creating is drama.

So until the Admins can figure out what to do with that area it will remain closed.

I am sorry if this upsets anyone but at this time it needs to be done.

Huh, I was just thinking it was a good idea. Obviously it would be a drama section, wasn't that the point? Instead of every disagreement jacking threads you could take it on there and everyone would still know what was going on if they wanted to. I wondered if it would have worked over on another forum, since people's personal issues kept coming onto every thread (of course, if the mod's did their jobs, then that wouldn't be a problem).

So are you going to do as most forums and have people take their issues offline and patrol the threads for jacking or trolls? Man, I feel for you mods...

I think that most of our staff likes the idea behind having such an area, because it keeps the drama and BS out of more serious threads. However, we tread in shallow water with Cat Fight simply because e-tempers flare too easily. Posting a unanymous rant regardless of whether it's posted about another member or not is often perceived by someone else as a direct attack whether names were named or not and thus, the drama begins.

If you or any member has any suggestions about how we can make it work and benefit both the goals of SBG and our members (after all YOU guys are why we're here) please let us know. We're always looking for ways to make your stay here pleasant and enjoyable.

no I mean to when I was that age... knowing then what I know now! (didn't do much party'n in HS as I had a couple basketball scholarships that I didn't wanna loose... in the end... I lost them anyways)

Maybe it's just me, or maybe it's the day or something else, but today just seems much quieter and calmer on the boards, and I am definitely appreciating it. I don't know if some people are laying low because of the change, or have taken their posting elsewhere, but it's really nice here today. :grin:

If I have something to say I am going to say it. Thats not drama it me stating my opinion. If I am not happy with something that affects SBG I will say so. I don't think any mod or admin here is whiny. And personally I would rather be on a site where the forum staff expresses their opinions then just sit around enforcing rules. Alot of yall were not here in the beginning. Yes we have had Staff issues and some staff changes and if there is a problem we have dealt with it. We have worked hard to kill drama before it gets out of hand.

As far as whoever has an issue with me and I know there are a few of you.
I am an outspoken person and I also try and do whats best for SBG. I am usually the bad guy around here and its a role I accept. I am not trying to be everyones best friend. Those who know me, know I am a good person with a very full plate. The reason SBG runs is because of the Staff here. I work hard daily to maintain the technical aspects and try and keep everyone happy site wise.

If you have an issue with any staff member perhaps a pm may settle whatever issue is present.

Let me reiterate SBG is a site for people who love sportbikes. Not everyone here has a bike yet, some have been riding for years, some are interested, some are racers. Everyone is welcome here. You want bike discussion PLEASE create it. Most of the guys on here forget that there are more women than men here and we tend to yap!! We talk about everything. It works for us!
