This day is coming up on Sunday, April 20, 2008
Best of it all this is your chance to meet MP in person - a dream most don't get to achieve in their lifetime..
I met with the ride organizers tonight and they are super cool people.. enjoyed some good conversation with them, found out they live like a block away from me and took a decent ride through the park with them just for the helluva it.. it was warm out we had the bikes out why not?
But the plan is this:
Meet at the T-Shirt Shop in Hell at 1:30pm on Sunday, April 20, 2008. Ride from there to Vermontville on a decent route. Pig Roast at the end for $5.
If you are around the Michigan area come on out and join us.
If you need more info you can email me at: mudpuppy@wideopensportbikes.com
We are expecting a good turnout for this one. Weather looks good.

i will be in NC sometime in the near future.. its far too nice to stay away too long.. i love visiting the south.. if they would just stop saying "you want grits with that" which really means i'm spitting in your food you pos yankee.. i always have a great time down south though.. of course i get along with just about anyone unless they are an a-hole, upstart or just plain stupid mfr..
sunday should be a good turnout.. looking forward to a great ride and the pig roast at the end..

awesome day - lots of bikes turned out.. awesome weather.. rode 300 miles yesterday..
it started like this - met up with WOS at our usual spot.. waiting for the 6th bike and he just gets there says hi and the cops roll up.. i am like damn are you kidding me we haven't even rode yet.. shit he was super cool - just wanted to bs about the bikes and life in general..
then we rode around our usual roads for a bit, caught a quick lunch and headed to Hell to meet up with the main group..
not too many were there when we got there.. then the bikes started pouring in like bees when you shake the hive.. not sure of any official numbers..
we had the route mapped so we split off on our own little 20 bike group and had a spirited ride through the twisties to about 1/2 way to vermontville, the end point.. we stopped at one point because we weren't quite sure which direction to go or if we were headed the right direction.. hung out there for a bit and here came the first group of the much bigger groups.. so we then knew we were headed the right direction.. so we followed them the rest of the way to the final spot where there was a bbq and a band..
all in all a very good day..
there might be a charity ride put on by the same people in the near future for a recently fallen rider.. i will post the details when i have them..
