Ok I want my 848 to stand out from the others. I am going to make it a replica. I also want to see the AMA FX version. But tell me what you think?

I have to agree, replicas are nice, but a clean look is better.

The replica's are too busy for my taste...
I prefer them with just subtle graphics.

for a race bike it looks pimp... but sor a street bike... it's too busy IMO

its simple - you have two choices:

1. sell it and buy a yamaha

2. put on track plastics, paint it like that and only ride it at the track

For the street, I would go with the clean look myself. It's a beautiful bike just left alone....

A red Duc is like a red Ferrari. How boring. ;-) I don't see anything wrong with a replica for the street. Me myself if I was going to all the trouble of painting, I would come up with something unique. Or just plain black (it goes with everything). It's your bike, do what'cha want!

Just don't paint it Kawi green lol!
