Well this is the first I have ever heard about it happening. Let me do some digging at vb.org and see if it is a bug.
Sooner or later we will go to the 3.7 which is a lil different. I just didn't wanna run a beta here :D

I think he's just still subscribed to the old threads. IMHO the default should be NO notification though. I was getting hundreds of emails from this page a day.

My default was set to no notification.... I've never had a problem. The only emails I've ever gotten are the ones sent straight from admin, like the newsletter.

Yeah, my inbox filled up too. I turned it to do not email but was still getting them as well, so I tried do not sunscribe. Haven't checked if I am still getting them or not now.

yeah I'm still getting notifications on the threads I was ALREADY subscribed too... now it just doesn't auto subscribe me anymore...
really the only problem I have with it is... considering I'm like 13-17 hrs ahead of all of you.... most of your guys posting happens while I'm asleep or at work... so when I get home I have 150+ e-mails to surf through to find all my ****!

I just noticed if I go into list my subscription... that all the threads I was subscribed to PRIOR to switching it to no notification were still listed as Instant (forum default). all the rest were set as none.
so I think what my issue was, was me assuming that if I changed it in Options it would be retro active to ALL my subscribed threads... when in fact it is only effective on FUTURE subscriptions.
I think you've fixed this from being an issue by setting the default to none.
Thanks for the help and the effort to resolve this
