This crazy Texas weather is about to kill me. What kind of medication have you taken that helps with the itchy eyes and nose? I sneeze sometimes so violently I have to pull over. Temp rose to 77F with winds around 30+ mph today, supposed to be in the 40's tomorrow.

Try Claritin or Zyrtec they are both OTC now.

:agree: with Love, you may get sticker shock when you see the cost. But they work very well for allergies.

I got Zyrtec this morning, my right eye is 30% open. 54F soon to be 40F, I just hope this stuff works. If not I'll be searching ebay for a pine box.

It really sucks when you are born and raised in Texas and have allergies and asthma. And the worst part about it is my asthma is allergy induced so when my allergies act up I can't breathe either. I have to take allergy shots and I take Zyrtec. Nothing else works for me and I have taken it ALL!!

I took shots for 3 years back in the 80's, maybe its time to reinlist. I can handle Lubbock and her sand in the air, spent a little time in Mid/Odes and Goldsmith. Beaumont is by far the worst place on earth I've visited as far as allergies for me.

Zyrtec works the best for me, no sleepiness, no cotton mouth. Of course I still have a bottle of it from when it was prescription only, I'm assuming it's the same now though.

I live in Odessa. Lubbock is bad for me because of the cotton feilds. I lived there for about 3 months and hated it. Yeah Beaumont is pretty bad too.

I tell my wife I'm allergic to her cotton and to remove it quickly! Now I remember where that knot on my head came from..
