Central Fla Riders! All Girls Ride #9 on 3/1/08 - Destination Bike Week!

Hello Ladies its that time again!

Since our regular scheduled ride falls during bike week, lets represent in Daytona Beach on March 1, 2008!

We will ride over early in the morning, its about 3 hours from Tampa with a couple stretch breaks, and we will ride back early evening. We will pretty much stay at the speedway and checkout all the vendors in the Sportbike areas. If time permits, maybe a roll down mainstreet.

This will be a great opportunity to show that we have a strong group of female sportbike riders at the biggest bike event of the year!


Meet spots and times:
Tampa - 7am KSU - Dale Mabry south of 275, Shell Gas station
Lakeland - 8am KSU - Exit 33 BP across from Harley shop
Orlando - 9am KSU - Chevron at I-4 and Fairbanks
Daytona - 10am arrive


We would advise you to bring a pack with a few extra items on this unique ride.
1. Extra shoes, if your riding boots aren't made for walkin'
2. A hat and/or sunglasses
3. Cash
4. snacks
5. bike lock
6. jacket lock

...and of course, wear your gear!!

I bought a couple of cable locks to lock my stuff to the bike. I've been meaning to buy one for years, but never got around to it. Glad I finally did, they are very handy. This is my jacket, Jenn's jacket and my helmet locked to my bike with my cable, and our bikes locked together by the front wheel with hers.

I like the style. Haven't had a chance to test ride it as they don't demo them. :(:blink: I still like how it feels when you sit on one.. u sit in the bike. Color.. the black with copperish color one!
