FS: 2004 Yamaha R1

Great bike and very fast.

I lowsided on a trip last year causing cosmetic damage (see pics). No broken fairings or anything like that but the left side is scratched. Could be painted, replaced or maybe buffed out somewhat.

Custom exhaust (race baffles) on bike have great aftermarket sound (sounds like Arrow to me) with power/torque gains. The images below are from a kit sold online. I did not use their kit, I bought ones already modified.

This was going to be my Winter/Spring project but I am trying to buy a house and need the cash right now. I will take what I consider to be a reasonable offer, but I'm not going to give it away. The damage definitely looks more pronounced in a super close-up image than it does in real life, but I also understand it's a damaged bike. Asking $6,000.

What kind of sliders do you have on there....doesn't look like they did a great job protecting yer ride.

Sliders did perfectly -- they protected the frame & tank. Common misconception that sliders are meant to protect the fairing/casings.

Those are top of the line, Sato sliders (right one could be replaced or left as is -- there's plenty of derlin left). It also has Sato rear spools (see bike on rear stand).
