Nothing really at all.just showing off and sooner or later it will get one of us good. To tell ya the truth it's a ego boost. just one of those glorified things that some people are compelled to do i guess.

yeah we do them for the glory of it. It's like you said like having a 1litre bike so you can out run people on the straights.

theres something to be said for busting a 3rd gear standup on the freeway at night, cruising on 130 on the back wheel for a kilometre. i don't necessarily do them any more when people are around, i just enjoy the satisfaction of doing them. it's a constant requirement skill. if you don't do one for a week or two, you'll need to get used to it all over again.

there is nothing wrong with litre bikes, Had a 600 wnated something different, almost bought a 750 but got a better deal on my litre. nice colors too and I definetly like the speed and torque of it. Ask RRH.

I like the 600cc bikes not really a 1 litre fan. the bike is too big for me. can zip a 600cc bike through the curves.

The last time i got on one which was last summer. We were on the highway coming home from a long ride in the dark. they have these little cuts for the median and center divider that warns you you are crossing the line. well i was in a wide sweeper and got in the middle on those and damn near missed a curve because the front tire was slipping badly.
I didn't have throttle control and was damn near a wreck. come into it to hot and didn't realize it till it was too late.

know how that feels. but like you said no throttle control. it is all about weight distribution and various control technics. I agree 600's are lighter and some what more nimble but as PG showed in a video even a busa can be controlled to knee drag. not arguing per say, just my 2 cents that is only worth about 1/2 that

I agree with you i saw that knee dragging. i just don't have big nuff ass throw the bike around.
leave the litre bikes to the experts .

I hear ya, but last time I seen rossi or any of em that aint that big:lol: just like anything else, you just gotta learn. I am getting my gear so I can start taking the racers course/speed test so I can get my racers license and get my track day at a reduced rate.
