Ok...don't get too excited. Just wanted to show off pics of my new single bike trailer. How cool is this shit? A crank drops it down to floor level for easy on easy off loading. (READ...NO MAN REQUIRED RRH!) No ramps needed. $400 from a fellow rider. Light enuf to drag behind my crappy Saturn! Come on ppl...let's see pic of what you use to drag ur bike around!

well that was a nice tease. I use myself to drag around my bike, this is California so if I cant ride it there I dont go. But I would love to have something like that to take some ride and drive road trips

I don't have a whole pic of my enclosed utility trailer because... it's just an enclosed utility trailer. Here's the pic of it hooked to my tow vehicle.

drag my bike around???

a bike on a trailer is like a ugly girl on a pedastle ...... yea...exactly...it just doesn't make sense.

Do you have all of your track gear strapped to your back seat? How big of a cooler can you fit on there, anyway?

either my bike drags me when I go down....or I'm on it 24/7

this year will be my first time riding it to the track...getting it to pass tech, then riding it back home

OHHHHHH YEEEAAAHHHHH

How you gonna carry the:

-Food
-Drinks
-Tools
-Spare parts
-Tape

AND hope this don't happen... but IF you go down, how you gonna get home??

HAve not had it loaded up yet, but I did drive it back from Buffalo without anything on it (75 miles of thruway) at 90mph and had no probs at all. I just need to learn how to back up with a damn trailer on!!

with your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel, back up, turn the wheel so your hand is the direction that you want the trailer to go.
Slow movements, nothing too drastic. A trailer that short will respond quickly.

Pretty optimistic. To each his own. I suppose it's like having a house with a garage. Why have one if you can work on your car in the rain, right?

track gear??...I'll wear my full leathers there. = solved

cooler? I'm not there to tailgate....besides, they have vending machines = solved

spare parts? who is going down? = solved (I'll ride it at a good pace until I'm comfortable to kick it up a notch)

if I do go down? that's what the SO is for ;) = solved (she's scraped me up once before...even slept in her car with me outside of a mall while the bike charged via a plug used to light up a big Xmas wreath) shhh - don't tell mall security. lol

Tape? the GSXR has a nice size ass...I can stuff her well ;) = solved.

Gas can??

Gas can??

Motorcycles get great mileage. You just have to ride the speed limit. Every track day has one of those :D

Most people I've talked to that keep track get about 15-20 mpg during track riding.
Average track is about what? 2-3 miles?
Get what, about 15-20 laps per outting, and 2-3 outtings per day?
SO in those 3 outtings, you will need around 9 gal of gas.
Average SB tank holds between 4-5 gal.

PLUS you have to get there.
My closest track is 140 miles. so that equates to almost a tank of gas there.

So, i guess if you rode there, filled up before you got to the track, and then only ran 10 laps 3 times, you could still make it back to the gas station.

And then also, when riding the track it takes a lot of energy (so i've been told).
Me personally, I don't think after straining my body that much, that I would want to ride another 2+ hours.

What about an E-Z up to keep you out of the brutal sun in your leathers? Food? Water? NOT all tracks have vending machines or concession stands.
