I just saw the most disturbing website about bike wrecks. www.ride2die.com is a wake up call to dumbasses who don't pay attention while driving cars and to those of us who don't wear ample protection. After watching that i'm never getting on my bike without everything on. I don't know what else to say except please everyone protect yourselves and if you think you're invincible look at this site, it WILL change your mind. And for all you in Cali, FL and the south where it's not snowing like it is here and you can ride, please please protect yourself. Stay safe everyone.

always a good idea to wear gear. From the looks of it some of those people that were mutilated were wearing their gear.

It's equally important to make sure you don't ride like an asshole.

A great eye opener. It's always smart to wear you gear, even for that short ride around the corner.

Gear is a personal choice. I choose to wear as much as I can 99% of the time. But I won't condemn anyone for not wearing it. Its your body, your skin, your life.

On the same token, if we all show up for a spirited ride and you are in a tank top, shorts and flip flops, I may opt out of the ride simply because I don't want to see and deal the mess if you happen to go down....
