Well I hope that it doesn't get any further than it already has. Although I agree that stunting in traffic is stupid and it makes all bikers look bad...this is an unfair punishment.
I mean holy ****, take the motorcycle, arrest and not be able to ride for 10 years. WTF??

Yeah no they got a defining note on it (I heard bout it thru I think someone else in the AMA) But its for reckless riding & stunting on public roads. They are still defining the bill as tightly as poissible as to not get EVERY rider in trouble.
But in all fairness, FL IS the bike state, several riders there are getting too reckless and they wouldnt have even thought this up if SEVERAL morons werent pulling this kind of chit on public roads and highways.

Lane splitting is illegal in Colorado. So no i don't lane split, and honestly even if it were legal, it is dangerous and I won't do it.
...., and honestly even if it were legal, it is dangerous and I won't do it.
All the stats I have seen on it say that it is actually the safest place to ride. The basic idea is that if traffic is thick enough to "filter" through cars are not changing lanes.
Back on topic. IT WILL NEVER PASS!
The punishment is no where near appropriate for the crime. You get less time and punishment for killing someome and a DUI.
See the 8th amendment for reference.

I'm guilty as charged for splitting lanes as well. Traffic sux and if it gets me away from some idiot then so be it.
