How do those boots feel once you get off the bike? I have always wondered about that

the JR's were real comfy and the Sidi's are even more comfortable. Almost house shoe like. Only issues I have had wearing them off the bike is walking down stairs as the ankle protection limits ankle movement especially backwards (toes down) movement. Other than that they are more comfortable than my skechers.

not that i have noticed. But the Sidi's have more feel to them than the JR's did, but I like that cuz I get better feedback from the bike.

ya... that's the thing... the better they are on the bike, the worse they will be street walking.

only if you use to wearing 3" soles or thickass work boots. I love wearing mine anywhere lol. My running shoes are the thickest sole shoes I got.

I still love my desert combat boots. Great feel on the bike, and all day comfort. marginal protection.

The ones I had were very comfy too. But not near the protection ya need when ya need it on a bike tho  But better than tennis shoes or flip flops lol. The soles on the Sidi's are quite a bit thinner than the boots you are referring to. but have a similar feel n feedback to em. The Sidi's being more so of course. but yea for your normal ride thru town n what not, those do fine. You got a set of leathers tho did you? Combat boots wouldnt look so hot with those tho

actually, from a distance, you can't tell
Black leathers, black combat boots (i leave the deserts at home with the leathers)
On my normal commute I don't wear the pants. I'm looking at gettin a pair of over pants now tho, for next summer.

Yea that wouldnt look so bad, not as good as riding boots:), but I was referring to the desert ones  When I commute to school I wear my jeans, Sidi's, jacket, and gloves. But I wear all my gear if I go out doing anything else.
