Rizla Suzuki MotoGP had to cut short its testing programme at Sepang in Malaysia today as heavy rain brought an early end to the proceedings. Chris Vermeulen was able to continue with his initial tests of the 2008 prototype version of the Suzuki GSV-R and produced the second quickest time of the day in the dry conditions. Loris Capirossi continued to acquaint himself with the performance and handling of the 2007 GSV-R during his second test onboard a Suzuki, and recorded the fifth fastest time.
