What bike is it going on???
Also, full system or slip on?
are you looking for CF, or SS/Ti??
How loud do you want it?
From what I've found and seen, these combo's work well
Suzuki / Yoshi / Taylor Made
Kawi / Muzzy / Akra
Honda / Two Bros
Yam ?? Not sure.

Well I have a cbr 600. N I want it to be louder than my stock exhaust cuz my car makes more noise than my bike but dont want it to sound like hmm how can I explain well kinda like those annoying little cracker jack toy cars. With that nasty high pitched sound.

Two bros is a good option.
I'd wait for some Honda people to chime in tho!

Ok Thanks Charlene. Well What Does Everyone Think Of A Akrapovic?

I've had Microns on all of my Hondas (with the exception of my first, which was an F3), which includes an '02 F4i, '03 600RR and now on my '05 1000RR. I love the sound as it's not whiney and has a deep, throaty sound.

Sorry can't recall ever seeing anyone I ride with running that particular one. So no help on that.

Do you have an RR or an F4i?......big difference in pipe selection! I'm a member on the 600RR forum and exhaust is the biggest and most debated topic. When it comes down to it...opinions are like A$$-holes, everyone has one! hehe. But, seriously just do some research....I saw someone mentioned scrorpion which is good( they say you dont need a PCIII) with it. Otherwise I would recommend getting a PCIII for most other exhausts. It's primarily just looks, and sound, so it's up to you what you want.....power isn't much of a noticeable difference pipe to pipe. After a truthful 6 months of looking, I decided on a Titanium Jardine RT-1 Dual outlet.....pretty much because it's one of only like 3 exhausts for the '05-'06 RR's that doesnt stick way out past the tailight. But I have all the info. from researching all the other exhaust's still embedded in my head, so if you have any Q's let me know!

The Akrapovic looks good on the 600RR especially with a good fender eliminator and tail conversion.
Theres another brand that looks way hawt 'after' its cut down so it doesnt stick out to far.

Here's a great website to check out:
http://www.sportrider.com/tech/146_0410_pipe_clips/index.html
It has mp3 clips of the more popular slip-on exhausts, so you can have a good idea of what each one sounds like. (I couldn't find information on what bike(s) was/were used though)

Why not get an Enrion exhaust? Their Honda specific, I had one on my F4i and it was awesome, deep sound without being too loud.

Josh Hayes and Golbert race for them in AMA. Enrion racing is pretty much a dedicated exhaust manufactuer to Honda (Like graves to Yamaha, Yosh to Suzuki, Akro to Kawi).

Do they compare equally in prices to the other populars D&D, Akra etc.?

I believe Konich means Erion, not Enrion... here's the webpage: http://www.erionracing.com/ There was an Erion edition 929 back in 2001.
But, they do tend to stick out farther than the tail/brake light.

No prob. IMHO the 3 best looking, reasonable price, quality exhausts for the RR's is Akropovic (hex model), Yoshimura, and the Jardine dual.(not the single outlet, it sticks out about 3 1/2" from the taillight!) If you want the absolute best for the RR,(and 9/10 RR owners will agree with me, its the ARATA)but it's around $700 just for the slip-on...... Two brothers, Scorpion, and micron are very popular too, and many people swear by them. It depends on style and sound mostly. hope that helps ya....

I ran the Micron on my racebike. Liked the power but the sound didnt do it for me. It was deep but very quiet.
I've played around with most of them and the best bang for your buck for a Slip-On is the Jardine. They are Honda specific and the Honda Factory AMA Team runs them. Very good power and sound.
I have Jardines S/O's for your bike under $300
http://trackstar1.com/store2/index.php?cPath=294_41_169_170_327
The Yosh would be my 2nd choice. Good power, good sound but a little more pricey.
http://trackstar1.com/store2/index.php?cPath=294_41_133_197_198
I also have Arrow, Micron and others but those would be my first choices for you. Let me know if I can help you out in any way.
i love my akrpovic and 1 of my friends runs it on his rr600. sounds good.
ok I am not reading every post on this thing, just gonna throw out what I know and comment on what I did read,
Kawi does all their research with Muzzy pipes,
Suzuki " " " " Yoshi pipes
Yamaha " " " Graves
Honda " " " " Two Brothers
when i say research, when they are testing and stuff the first production bikes go to those places for design and tech on after market pipes first! and they do exclusive stuff for their particular brands....
that covers the "big 4"
D&D pipes make a ton of noise, but because of the way they are made, the cut horsepower depending on the size of the bike, 3-7% >>> if all you want it noise not HP increases then definatly do D&D
If you want to increase the HP a little in your bike, you should look into TIFORCE, or maybe brock hindle if they make a pipe for your bike, not sure tho never checked for your particulr bike.
Akropovic is way way over priced, for what you pay for that pipe you could get the same HP gains from a tiforce and have enuff left over for rearsets or power commander if you dont already ahve one!
I would recommend posting up some more details of your bike, year, after market stuff already on it...power commander, yosh engine mgmt system, after markter fuel pump, if carburated what size carb jets...etc...
good luck tho, hope this helps a little

If Erion Honda is Hondas Factory Satellite Team and Jardine builds all the pipes for Honda's Factory AMA Team why do they send stuff to 2 Bros first?

I ran a Sato exhaust on my '05 F4i and it was sic! On my SVS I went to the Yoshimura C/F setup. I tried a Micron on my F4i but didn't like the sound or the fit.
My 2 pennies worth.

Which one? the RS-3 or Tri oval?
Slip on or full
I have the slip on RS-3 CF, and I love it!

I put the RS3 Stainless/Carbon Slip-On and a PC3 to remap the fuel injection.

I'd go with 2 bros., Akro, or Erion.
Sorry I hate D&D exhausts! Are they are are obnoxious, and loud.
