The next Scooter-Relief Benefit All-Nighter in Denver will be Saturday night before new-year's, December 29th. at the Orange Cat Studio.
$10 pre-sale bracelets will be encouraged and we hope to have them available in the store section of this site soon. Pre-sale of the bracelets allow us to better plan the event, more efficiently manage the party and maximize the proceeds for our cause.
This event will include DJ's dancing, decorations, refreshments provided by a barstaff and a formal prom-style theme will be the dress. If you have ever attended one of our parties there you know it's a fantastic venue and a great time is had by all. If you have ever known a scooterist that needed and received our help, then you know its a worthy cause.
If you are from out of town and would like to attend, use the 'contact us' feature to get in touch or post a "Hey DCD" on www.scooterbbs.com (vintage forum gets the most attention). DCD and our scooterists are great for putting folks up or recommending accommodations, lending scooters to ride and showing you a good time. December is an awesome time to see the Rocky Mountains for snow and the city often has nice daytime scoot-able weather (if you bundle up).
All proceeds will go to this site and the scooterists we benefit.

What is the Toy Run?
For more than two decades, the Rocky Mountain Harley Owners Group has sponsored The Toy Run to The Children's Hospital, an event that brings thousands of toys to the sick and injured children at The Children's Hospital of Denver.
This one-day event brings in so many toys that every child who stays at The Children's Hospital throughout the year is able to receive a gift donated by a participant in the Toy Run. Last year alone, the Rocky Mountain Harley Owners Group and other Toy Run participants donated so many toys that the toys had to be stored in a warehouse until the time that they were needed.
Over the years, the Toy Run has grown from a few hundred dedicated individuals to several thousand bikers and countless supporters … even if the weather is horrible.
Where and when is the Toy Run held?
The 22nd Annual Toy Run to The Children's Hospital will be held Sunday, December 2, 2007 at 11:00 AM with registration beginning at 9:00 AM. Please do not show up before 9:00 AM.
Unlike last year, the event will not be staged at Aspen Grove Shopping Center. Instead, the Toy Run to Children's Hospital will be staged at the Highlands Ranch Shea Center at 1745 Shea Center Drive, in Highlands Ranch. (get directions) This change has been made to accommodate the ever-growing number of people who wish to participate in this special event (in fact, the Toy Run has grown from approximately 500 people in 1999 to over 10,000 people in 2003 … more than a 2,000% increase in only five years!).
What if the weather is too bad to ride on the Toy Run?
Because so many sick and injured children look forward to this event, this ride will take place regardless of the weather. If it's too cold, snowy, or slick to ride your motorcycle, get in your car, come to the staging area, and join the procession anyway!
How do I register to go on the Toy Run?
Registration for the Toy Run will take place at the Highlands Ranch Shea Center on the day of the event (between 9:00 am and 11:00 am). There will be no preregistration this year.
How much does it cost to go on the Toy Run?
The only cost to participate in the 22nd Annual Toy Run to The Children's Hospital is a new, unwrapped toy. To get an idea of what the kids at The Children's Hospital need, download their wish list (requires Adobe Acrobat).

Pretty WEAK sportbike turnout for this event. If your a member in Denver and didn't ride because it was "too cold" sell your ****in' bike because your a poser.

I was surrounded by Harleys (can you find the Ninja?) but I still had a great time.

I had my son and family business to attend to this weekend and couldn't get out. So I couldn't ride, nor could i get to the toy run. Sorry! Looks like the overall turn out was good though.

There will be no cover charge, and the Purple Martini has agreed to have a certain coctkail available in honor of Matty. Every time one is ordered a portion of the sales will go to help him with his remaining medical bills.

This will be such a great time and a way to help out a fellow rider. Hope to see you all there
