Well my tail conversion is almost complete. All it likes now is a undertail which should be here Monday, and paint. But thanks to a few zipties holding the tag on its ridable. Heres some pix of er throughout the process. I will post more when shes has her undertail, and the n when shes painted too.

I had to fabricate some mounts to hold the tail light thanks to who ever butchered the undertray I got. Worked out nice tho IMO.

Is that a Lockhart Phillips taillight? If so, you will grow to loathe the thing.

One by one, all the LEDs will randomly start failing.

it is. but later on I plan on gettin a undertail with a custom LED setup in it like this:

With the extension built into it like that, I guarantee you that that one won't fit. You'll have to chop or trim it down. My suggestion, is that once you have it painted, take it to a tint shop and have them slap a clear bra on it. I had that done to mine after re-rattlecanning it three ****ing times, and it doesn't have a single paint chip in it now.

a rattle can of that color is $33 a can lol

I have thought about doin the early yellow/black/white RR's treatment to the tail.

I'm not particularly fond of that scheme...it's not bad, just not something I would do...of course I'm a chic..so what do i know.

Yep. No amount of rattlecan clear coat will keep the rocks and other road surface miscellany that your tire kicks up from chipping it. The clear bra will - and you don't even really notice it's there. I can take pictures of mine if you want a reference.

My local tint guy only charged me $30. Well worth the money spent after I had repainted the F'ing thing twice.
