oh I can agree with you there as yall were in a lot. But a jacket of st least pads yanno lol then again it shows ya dress the same when you ride normally. Just food for thought, its your body not mine :good:

Townie's a pro with this stuff...yea gear would be cool, but at least he's wearing a hemmit. road rash heals faster than drain bamage. :)

Mind chatting it up a bit on what kind of tire pressure riders run when doing the stunts? And, perhaps something about suspensions you use and how you have them set up: Preload, Damping, etc.?

No silly....not full leathers...True you have the helmet and thats great.
But what PG said.....think jacket, elbow pads, chest protector something along those lines....Look at the professionals they even ride with that on minimally...I mean one guy this past weekend wore shorts, elbow pads, helmet and a Icon Vest not the most ideal choice of apparel but its more than what you had as far as gear.

Just food for thought! Ive had to scrub enough road rash to want to try and keep mine.

damn people... i see no need for leathers... i was not in any of the pics you seen... i had on long sleaves and pants.. i did go down.. HARD!!!! no real road rash.. little cuts on the shoulder... no need for leathers.. trust me i have been down and i am going to go down again... i do need a new lid... its hit the ground far to many times.. i do wear leather when i do ride and i know im going to go over 60.. trust me i have it.. i wear it... but chicks dig scars.. lol..

pilot i run 35 front and rear... i was at one point running 15 front and rear but it slowed down the stoppies too much... suspension is stock for now.. this winter im sending it all back to nevada to be rebuilt... i know a guy that does all the work for most of the fmx riders form northern nv.. so ill get back to you on all the specs when i get the new suspension..

Well have been to some of Townies stunts. Ill tell you that most of those are slow stunts..I see no reason for more gear than what hes wearing..I dunno, everytime ive been on a skateboard, i havnt worn gear..

Most amatuer stunnas wear no gear, but you make ur own destiny. At least Townie wears a helmet which is way more than i can say for stunners in ny and nj, where u got what i call the "no helmet gangstaaaas".

My bf, a sorta reformed no helmet gangsta/ no gear wearing idiot, lost control of a seatstander and fell on his head a few weeks ago. Mind u he's been in the game so long his younger brother was in "12 o`clock". U woulda figured with all the falls he's had over the years, he'd put some gear on or at least a helmet. Instead he chose to spin the wheel of excuses.:wallbash:

how in the hell did this turn into a debate??? so what we are not wearing full leathers... we also are riding at speeds no more then 30 at most... do you all get full geared to ride down to the gas station for a soda or somthing??? you think any of you have been down more then any of us?? we crash with pride.. yes we wear gear.. we wear lids and gloves and jeans... i try to wear longs sleaves as much as possible but hey not all the time... do i know what road rash is??? hell yes... have i ever wrecked a bike... hahaha since i was like 5... do i have scars?? yes alot.. have i broken bones... hahaha yes.. had stiches?? yup... trust me people we are more then aware of what happens on these things... and like i said if i do go ride i do wear my leathers...

I agree^^^^ I dont mean to debate lol. I meant more like elbow n knee pads not full leathers. I know yall dont get fast in parking lots n it gets hot when not moving in leathers during the summer. But its your skin lol. Not knocking your skills at all tho, they rock n pwn mine any day :lol:

I have 28-32 preasure in my bike. But also helps if you have a bigger sprocket.

yeah we are supposed to be getting all new gear.. knee elbow shin... all the goods... i just feel so restrained with it.. not somthing i want if im rolling high chair and thing get a little crazy... that is why i lost the leather gloves and went to dirt bike gloves... less protection but more felxabilaty... then again i learned the hard why you dont put your hands out when you go down.. broken wrist in cast for my whole summer when i was 16..

what format are they in n what site? I found googlevideo works better than youtube and all you have to do is paste the url to ya vid here n it will automatically embed it.

Nice photo's. I'm not a stunter, yet don't mind picking my bike up and riding it a bit but nothing like you guys. Every year I search around the industrial parks to find the local stunters. It's great seeing them in action in person. I really take my hat of to you guys, you make it look so easy when it is not at all.............LOL Keep up the good work.:jump:
